The FBI was involved in a lengthy investigation into criminal activity on the Ogala Sioux Indian Reservation in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.  On June 26, 1975, while attempting to serve an arrest warrant for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, FBI Special Agents Jack Coler and Ronald Williams were ambushed and murdered.  One of the four suspects in these murders, Leonard Peltier, was convicted of the crime and is currently serving a life sentence.  This patch was made for the 25th Anniversary of this investigation.
