Operation Iraqi Freedom patches were made for members of the FBI who traveled to Iraq in the wake of the 2003 Gulf War.  The members of this unit were stationed in the Baghdad Operations Command Center and include members of the FBI’s Legal Counsel Team, Evidence Response Teams, and Hostage Rescue Team.  Several members of the unit were also dispatched to other areas in the country to investigate war crimes and collect evidence.  Patches have also been made to commemorate these excursionary details as well.
